RONALD N. RINER, MD

Ronald N. Riner, MD is President and CEO of a nationally focused healthcare management consulting firm which has been in existence since 1980. He consults with hospitals, health systems and medical groups throughout the United States. He is a board certified cardiovascular specialist with business training who has served as a member of the senior management teams of some of the largest not-for-profit and investor-owned health systems in the U.S. In addition to his operational expertise, he works closely with boards and senior management teams relevant to governance and clinical integration strategies. He is a graduate of Princeton University and attended Cornell University Medical College. He received his internship and residency training in New York Hospital/Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and specialty training in cardiovascular diseases at the Mayo Clinic. He has also received formal business education through Olin School of Business at Washington University in St. Louis, Kellogg School of Business in Chicago and Harvard University in Boston. He is a fellow of the Institute for Advanced Study and International Business Development at Washington University and a former graduate Medical Education Program Director.
