Jade Gong is Principal of Jade Gong and Associates. She is a senior advisor to executives to hospitals and health systems, post-acute providers, national associations and health technology companies. She is recognized for her deep expertise in Medicare and Medicaid payment policy, her operational knowledge of post-acute and long term care delivery systems, and her insight into the opportunities arising from health care reform. She actively utilizes this expertise to assist her clients to translate ideas into actionable business strategies.
As a nationally recognized thought leader in post-acute and long term care delivery, she is a sought after speaker at national meetings including the American Hospital Association, Leading Age and the National PACE Association and is the author of numerous publications on health care trends and strategies. She is passionate about assisting organizations to implement bold strategies that will transform the current delivery system into a more integrated person centered delivery system that will improve the lives of seniors. For many years, she has served on Geriatrics and Gerontology Advisory Committee of the Veterans Administration and most recently has developed and implemented the pilot for the VA to pay for PACE services.
Most recently, Ms. Gong was Senior Vice President, Strategic Initiatives for Health Dimensions Group, a nationwide post-acute consulting firm where she lead the practice in integrated care delivery, PACE and Medicare bundled payment. She began her career as an RN at New York Hospital in the cardiothoracic ICU. Ms. Gong received an MBA from the Yale School of Management and a BSN from New York University.
