DANIEL WOLF

Daniel Wolf, President of DSB Dewar Sloan is a recognized author, consultant and expert on strategy formation, integration and execution in healthcare.

Dan provides guidance on key issues in healthcare technology, delivery and business models, along with advice and counsel on enterprise development in this dynamic era of healthcare reform. He is the author of Prepared and Resolved, a highly regarded book on strategic leadership and management and Boards and Strategy, a new book on the role of boards in strategy leadership and oversight.

In his presentations, retreats and education programs, Dan tackles key issues in the evolution of healthcare policy, strategy, structure and culture. He has been on the forefront of strategic thinking and practice on innovation and collaboration, and his advisory work has served to connect the dots between strategic planning and resource planning, and organizational options.

Dan has addressed healthcare executives, resource managers, healthcare boards, medical center faculty, technology managers and healthcare facility leaders with highly-engaging programs. And, for more than 25 years, he has been on the inside of healthcare delivery, healthcare technology and healthcare finance discussions with organizations across North America and Canada.

Currently, Dan serves as Board Chairman of Munson Healthcare, a high value and high performing regional healthcare delivery system. He is a Graduate Fellow of the MHA Excellence in Governance Program, and a former AHA Regional Policy Board Advisor.

Dan holds an MBA from Michigan State University, where he also earned a BA in business administration. He serves on an Advisory Board for the Business School at Michigan State University.
